The influence of pandemics on architecture

Pandemics have always had an influence on architecture. Le Corbusier, Van der Rohe, Walter Gropius or Alvar Aalto are a good sample of how a pandemic like tuberculosis had a big influence on the design of hospitals, sanatories, houses or even in the creation of aerodynamic furniture where dust didn’t have the option to stay.
